    Default Forgetting Sarah Marshall

    Just finished watching this....

and because it did not "suck" thought a quick post might be in order.

I liked this film, for a few reasons, The characters, the acting, the concept and off course the humour.

Basically its your typical Breakup movie, I feel that most blokes could relate to this, I felt it was more geared towards males than females which is weird as I guess it would/will fall under the category of romantic comedy and I don't recall a film that does this (I am sure there is)

There is tons of humour in this one, I thought the guy who played the london rock god just p1ss funny.

On balance there was a few moments where it became a little slow and I thought the tide was turning and it was going to become unbearable to watch, but it did recover

Not sure if this will please many people, but I think its worth a watch if you have ever been dumped (as IMHO this follows the script of what happens next after your dumped)

There is also a few moments that are just typical of this genre, the "will they get back together" aspect, and obviously the "happy ending", I wont spoil it

Some of the scenes had me laughing out loud as well as the quick one liners that appear during the entire film. (The scene where the two girls were trying to out do each other with there orgasms was funny - maybe I was just in a silly mood)

I think this is one of the better films I have seen of late. If you liked "The Breakup" i think you might enjoy this.

Interested in any thoughts people might have one this one.

    films that plain suck
    -----------------------------
Fools Gold, - dismall, really poorly done. its a shame and without the two stars I doubt this film would have been made. but even that was not enough to hold it together. Kate Hudson and Mathew McConerhay??? (spelling) are both good actors and both did well in the film, but I kept feeling like they did not want to be there, started off promising but went down hill fairly early..
If you feed ducks at a pond, chances are your bound to feed a goose or two without even knowing it.

Only caught bits and pieces of FSM at the cinema and thought it looked pretty good. Never got around to seeing it though so keen to catch it on DVD.

I watched this the other day.. I liked it too.. The main guy ended up with the Hotter girl in the end if you ask me. She was also a sweet heart.
    Well worth a watch.
