Does anybody know if the Freesat boxes have inbuilt diseq switching for multiple dish/LNB inputs?

    Edit: Ok. They do.

    My V7 Combo does.

(I don't know of any modern satellite receiver which does not have provision for DiSEqC switching).

The specifications for all the various model Freesat receivers are readily available on the WWW via your favourite search engine.

ALL the late model satellite receivers I have seen lately can be upgraded by USB.

nearly all current sat receivers can be upgraded via usb, there are a few that can open other things same as strong EG: freesat, skybox, matrix,Kepnix, openbox etc etc and all are cheaper than strong as well

I like the SKYbox A1. Very well and easy to use. DISEqC OK . Not easy to get a hand on them.

Aliexpress vendors appear to have Kepnix receivers.

I don't know whether they sell the K1 though.

A vendor is advertising the K1 on Gumtree.

    Yes Ebay are thieves.
Yes she did. Don't worry that was a Good price. One of our Skybox's A1 shit itself the other day. It fires up and the after the Logo its hangs there.

(PS: I'm starting to understand what I'm writing. Before I can scratch a paragraph out and after I stop I read it in my head and I can't understand what I written. For all to know its like writing a sentence in English and the Computer convert its to Russian so to read it back which I can't.)

(5 Min to type and two spelling Mistakes)

The sky box thats hanging at the logo screen can be brought back to life with a firmware update via a usb to TTL adapter removing the cover to access the pins on the mainboard
and sourcing a USB to TTL off ebay and you are good to go I will upload the software if you like.
