MP3 storage and player
I'm after some recommendations on a standalone media player to store a pretty large MP3 collection on. I also want to be able to play the MP3s from the player into an analogue amp without digital optical input.
So what would be good is:
Something with an internal HDD, or one can be installed.
Has an OS that supports software to be able to search by ID3 tag fields (Title, Artist, Album, Album Artist, Genre etc) and supports embedded Album Art.
This last one is probably a bit of an ask, but a decent ADC would also be great. If not, any advice on a decent separate ADC that doesn't cost the earth? I am not an audiophile, but do like to crank it up a bit without it sounding too crap.
Most ot the MP3s I'll be playing are encoded at either 192Kbps or 320Kbps.
Any advice very much appreciated.

I also wouldnt mind hearing what people have to say on this one.
Surely there must be others with large MP3 collections, what do you use to play them besides your car stereo?
I just use an old laptop running WinXP and wifi and Windows Media Player. It has 100Gb of MP3 copes OK and SWMBO can use it OK
Dash.
I'm with dashinson, I have a computer set up as a media server so that anywhere I have access to my network I have access to my music.
