    Default Group Mailing List

Not really software related, but there is not really any other appropriate place.

I'm after a free group mailing list for a group of about 40 work colleagues. Has to be email unfortunately, not other methods that would do similar things.

There are plenty of free providers out there, but I'm hopeful someone here can recommend a good one.

    I require the following:
    - will accept all email addresses (ie: not just gmail/yahoo/etc).
    - admin console where members can be added/removed.
    - members can be added by an admin without the member needing to sign up.
    - one email address that will then send the email to all members in the group.
    - will forward emails as they are sent to the group.
    - 40 to 50 members maximum required

    Any suggestions?

IIRC you can set up mailing lists in Outlook, not sure if that would suit.

Thanks for the replies folks. Would be easier for me to use a service that does everything for me. I'll keep looking and will likely just sign up to some free ones to test them out.

Peter, I havent used this so have no idea about it. There is a free plan which may suit your needs. Its built in to VBulletin as a paid on.

As an update, and in case somebody is looking for something similar, I ended up using the services of freelists.org
