I got a 1:5 scale rc crawler for the young bloke and it keeps stripping the servo horns not the servo itself. I know why this is happening because mr5 year old only knows all the way left or all the way right even when up against objects, so the servo is nearly allways underload and then eventually stripping the gears. but how does one prevent this apart from practice and knowledge of rc? I did get I from ebay and there are some controller features but just typical 2 or 4 wheel steer and % for throttle and steer. if I limit the steer it takes the whole front yard to turn around its like a need a torque setting or something? any thoughts?
