Default Can't undo base of dome camera for mounting

Hi all, I have a dome camera which I'm having some trouble removing the base, is there some trick to removing it?
I've tried to unscrew the ring at the bottom, as this part has the mounting holes, but with no success, any ideas?

    Thanks

OMG, had the same problem Friday, same type of dome.

the are 3 >tiny< grub screws holding the base on located on the sides of the camera, about 5 mm back from where the base would mount to the wall.

Any goody Tech always has one of these in their tool box for such items

When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

You know I looked at those, and they are so bloody small I couldn't event see a screw in there, but upon closer inspection you are right.
I'll try remove these and see how I go.

    Cheers

What tool did you use to remove your screws? My smallest allen key is 1.8 - 2mm which is too big!

I used a hammer and a cold chisel to remove the thing off the wall. I can't even see the grub screws let alone own a allen key to get them out

If the thing wasn't busted before I got to it, it is now

Yeah I have an 8 channel PCI capture card, works well so far! Just recording movement to a pc in the garage.
I got it from electus distribution, can also get it from jaycar.

I ended up going to bunnings and getting a 1.5mm allen key. Darn small but it fits, and I managed to remove the grub screws!
