    Default Digital cameras for $6

Yesterday I was checking out the cost of SD cards on Officeworks web site. I noticed in their digital camera section several very basic point and shoot cameras for $6 each. Six dollars???

They're available in-store only. Could be good presents for kids or grandkids

Pity every branch in Victoria is sold out
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

I wonder whether it might be a bait tactic to get people into the store. If it was a certain other furniture and electrical store, I'd be sure of that.

The nearest Officeworks store is about 200 km from me, so I didn't look further into it.

If they are using bait and switch tactics, they will end up getting prosecuted by the ACCC who take a very dim view of it.

When you think the cheapest digital camera I bought took 80 only x with up to 2MP maximum quality on its internal only memory, fixed optical and 2 or 3 times Zoom and cost a couple of hundred dollars from the now long defunct Strathfield Car Radio.(2000~2005 era?)
I cant remember now if it took video or not but if it did, it was very short.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Similar here Gordon, saw it in a box the other day. Fujifilm 2 mp, would have been a couple of hundred for sure. Still works
