    Please see attached, you can speed up Firefox by altering the sub menus to by pass unnecessary site links x 40%. Better than Adblock plus

    All modern browsers, not only Mozilla's Firefox, offer this basic setting for more privacy - but many users don't know about it,

    Only works as expected if companies i.e. the web-sites they drive begin to support the HTTP "DO NOT TRACK (DNT) directive". Most companies do not. For example, Yahoo recently frankly said they don't and won't accept DNT-requests.

    Efforts to standardize DNT in the World Wide Web Consortium have resulted in deadlock, despite frequent urging by American and European policymakers.

    Yes, DNT could be a success, but at this stage, must be implemented through either a legal or technical requirement. Actually worldwide site operators (so far) are not required by law to respect DNT.

    So you probably currently may notice no changes in page load speed, even if you activated DNT function in your browser.
