Default 10 Best Sounding Race Bikes

Seriously, why isnt there a rotary road bike?
And that Honda 250cc 6cyl... I remember listening to old recordings of it racing 25 years ago, and even then it was out of production.
Yay, my bike made the list

Personally, i think they got the list ass about tho.

One sitting for decades on display in Melbourne museum.

I remember looking at the bike during my lunch breaks when i was at RMIT back in the 80's, the museum was just over the road.

One of my regrets is not going through that museum before they moved it.

Actually the Norton F1 sounds quite hot in race form

& DKW/Hercules - I was offered a very cheap DKW W-2000 (also known as the Hercules W-2000) back in the early 80's but declined as it didn't interest me.

The wail from a kitted RC30 is my favourite. This video doesn't do it justice, you have to be at a track to hear it.

And for sheer sickness, Kenny Roberts old TZ750 flat tracker was a crazy sounding thing because its always at max revs from wheel spin!

If a man says something in a forest and there is no woman there to hear it, will that which has been said still be wrong?

Oh you are going to hate the fact that I owned & raced, as an A grade road racer, a fully kitted RC30 for a couple of years back in the early 90's & that it sounded way better on the bike, even with earplugs in & helmet on, than you can imagine.
I still dream about it & wished I kept it.

    Also loved Kenny sounds sick,

No, I dont hate the fact you raced one. I had an OW01 and don't regret selling it for a minute. I raced 250 proddies the same time as you (KR-1), and I dont miss it really. I will visit the Island again soon just for a blast but I dont miss racing. If I had my time over again I doubt I would bother.

I just remember the RC30s sounding really cool and nothing has really rocked my boat like that since, although these new super over square Dukes are not far off...
