    Default [Windows XP and later] Vulnerability in Microsoft Font Driver

    Microsoft released July 20, 2015 a security patch ( KB 3079904 ) , which gets automatically installed on computers running Windows Vista and later, if Windows Update is turned on.

    This security update resolves a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows. The vulnerability could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted document or visits an untrusted webpage that contains embedded OpenType fonts.
    This security update is rated Critical.

    Because Windows XP no longer gets updated by Microsoft, it's on the Windows XP user to install this patch ( KB 3079904 ) himself.
