You won't get audio through it but you can use one of the other sound outputs for that if it isn't a problem.
I've got a genuine Vu+ Duo and USB tuner that has had very little use.
What sort of money are you offering?

Sorry I'm retarded I meant to type a lead that has DVI to HDMI. I can't remember if you get audio through but I'm pretty sure it did. I did a quick Google and it confirms it does.

    Utter BS!
Audio works fine with a DVI to HDMI lead on the DM800HD

bratty do some research on the box you have, thousands of users world wide using DVI to HDMI as a single lead solution, with 5.1 Audio and HD pics.
Its been covered on here many time also.
It can also be made into a Twin Tuner box with the addition of a USB Tuner and correct image to support it.

    Good Luck.

Yup! Had my 800hd hooked up this way for years....audio is fine.

I thought it only worked with a special DVI to HDMI cable that is supplied with the box (reconfigured cable).
If he bought a standard DVI to HDMI cable ( like I thought he was doing) I didn't think it would do audio.

    Hi Guys.

Quick Question Guys - Who is the Australian Distributor for Vu+ these Days ?
VU+.com.au seems to be dead as a dog.

    I'm on the lookout for a Vu+Duo2.

    Any Reccomendations ?

    Thanks for the Reply Slippery49.

I'll keep surfing around the net and see what I come up with.
As you say, I Might have to bring one in from Europe.. Haven't done that since bringing in my original Nokia Dbox2.

    Cheers:

Getting back to original question, Zgemma are making some decent cheap boxes at the moment. Zgemma Star H.2S is a good bit of kit and runs OpenATV (and has OpenVIX ports).
