Default Classic Australian Movies of the 70's and 80's - Watch them here

In the last couple of weeks, I have discovered a lot of classic Australian Movies are on Youtube. Including some that are rarely seen on commercial TV these days. so for those interested, heres a few to start you off.

In 10 parts but all there

Thats a start anyway, quality varies I can remember watching some of these movies, particularly Turkey Shoot which was pretty violent for the time, even though the special effects now look hilarious I can remember me and some mates settling in to watch it as anew release on VHS smoking some cones because someone told us you got to see Linda Stoner's tits.

I am going to watch Stir with Brian Brown tonight. Thought it was great when I watched it in the 80's.

Its on youtube, but it has some foreign language dubbed over it which is a bit of a bummer.

I cannot play the Movie or the track from 'The Adventures of Barry McKenzie' as my wife absolutely detests it but I dont know why so when I do play the track, I make sure its up REAL loud..........

The Adventures of Barry McKenzie, dinky di tales of a True Blue Boy, Fresh from the shores of the antipodes.........

Alvin Purple has just done a run on World Movies on Foxtel and because SBS runs World Movies, its possible they will screen in on FTA.

How about 'Stone' with Ken Shorter of 'You cant see around Corners' fame.

'The Shiralee' with Peter Finch was a great film.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Stone...yeah...loved that one. The bike race down Bent St was a classic.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
