    I.E. worked O.K. though.

    I haven't read the pdf that you uploaded, but i think that all that you have to do to fix the "NO CA ERROR", is you have to use DreamUp to boot the dreambox so that you have a valid ip address from the box. Make sure that you use a serial to serial cable. Once the initial loader is loaded, and you have an ip address from the box, you disconnect the serial to serial cable, close the DreamUp program, and type the ip address of the box into a web browser. Select update, select your stage 2 bootlader, and upload it. Once finished uploading, press restart. I believe that it should work fine after that.
