    Default Dual output C-Band lnb

As per the title has anyone got any experience with or know of a reasonable quality dual output C-band lnb?
Or does anyone here have one for sale?
I saw this one on ebay and even though it comes with a scalar ring for an off set dish, it should work on a prime focus with the correct scalar ring?
gotta laugh that the postage is more than the item
Would be nice if a dual output C-band with combined dual output Ku-Band incorporated existed.
My personal experience with cheap C/Ku combined lnb's was that they were pretty 'deaf'

Are you talking feedhorn or lnb?

I dont ever remember an LNB having scalar rings that was usually the feed horn assembly, (i.e. Chapparal feedhorns with C/Ku throat and an "S" port if required!

c/p "the scalar ring on a c band dish blinds the feedhorn from sidelobe interference and noise. Its always best to use a scalar ring on a prime focus antenna"

This is a dual C and Ku band assembly feedhorn!

They do, as per cmangle's link above and .

Clearly aimed at the commercial market... plus you'd need 4 LNB's as well.. 2 each for C and Ku bands.

For dual output C-Band, I've used a one of with two separate C-Band LNB's.

Once again, commercial quality, but they work extremely well.

Have been using this one for around two years now - has produced perfectly acceptable results on a 2.3m mesh.

Available from Phoenix Technology in Moorabin, Vic - around $65.

I've got one of these, but haven't fired it up yet - bit hard to come by these days - Satplus Vic found this one "out the back".

Most of the commentary I was able to find on the combined C/Ku configuration supported your view that they are a bit deaf, and can be a bugger to set up.

I spent a lot of time looking for dual output C/Ku - very frustrating - seems like the feedhorn/multiple lnb option is the only way.

There are some interesting threads on this forum on the subject - from memory, if you search "Prime focus LNB" you'll find them - some posters were reporting good results using dual output C-band prime focus, with a dual output Ku offset mounted alongside.

Edit: This crowd has a pretty interesting range of LNBs and accessories.
