Default Logging old IRD 1 terrestrial signal.

    Hey guys.

Posting from Cape Town, South Africa.

Was formally in Auckland, but now am residing in SA.

This is for educational purposes only.

I'm just keen on researching, to see if the older M-Net terrestrial service is hackable via tuner card.

As for security, the picture is scrambled like any older cable service, in Europe, or the USA, just polarity switched, it can be stabilized without much effort, however it's the sound that's the issue. Nobody I know of has yet managed to stabilize the sound, as that is encrypted with Irdeto 1, and is still branded as "super secure".

I was thinking, which is why I posted to Austech, due to the members familiar with logging the Aurora service, if one had to log the M-Net PAL frequency, would one be able to discover the key, which would open this service up via tuner card. I'd also need software for PC, which supports this. I've never logged a frequency before, and if possible this would be interesting thing to research.

    Thanks
