Get yourself a VPN (I recommend Private Internet Access) that way your ISP has no idea what you are upto.

I pretty much Max out my download speed with any torrent I get.

Private trackers aren't like public trackers. You will generally Max your speed out.


To put it in perspective I have been using Usenet for a LONG time. I use programs like sickrage for automation. I'm changing over to torrent only downloads because its just as reliable, just as fast and a lot cheaper

That's why you use an annoymous seedbox behind a VPN....

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Usenet. But the costs start to add up and there isn't any real benefit

i just meant that if you were caught in anyway, id rather it be for stealing than sharing

I've finally signed up for a Usenet account. So far, so good. I was just trolling around binsearch. info and find many of the "collections" have cryptic names e.g.

you probably need to join a usenet forum somewhere
so you can get the links to files from there

An NZB file is basically the Usenet equivalent of BitTorrent's torrent file, in that when you download an NZB, you're simply downloading a file that points to files available on Usenet. Applications supporting the NZB format can use them to make downloading Usenet binaries a piece of cake.

To fetch a NZB of interest I'm using : All the NZB files found are presented on a single website.

As downloader I'm using .

the bad file names(encryption) is to fool the dcma
be very careful on binsearch, lots of dodgy virus stuff
but the thing is there if you search advanced, collections only, nfo so you know what it is
is the safest to join, no fake or passworded stuff
you can check a download by un rar part of it if you tick" keep broken files in winrar
then you kno its real before dl-ing

is mostly good, you get some duds, id stay clear of other usenet crawl sites, unless you want to waste your gigs
