    I wonder how many would be interested in these systems if A/-all you get is a reduction of Power used from a Supplier but you still end up having a Bill at the end of each quarter and 2/-, be like the Pensioners and have such 'Payback's' treated as an assesable income and have to have it included for Income Tax purposes?

    The only way I see these Solar systems being viable is if you go completely 'Off Grid'.

    Based on our usage and a back of envelope calculation indicates I could do it for about $15,000. The real issue at the moment is the correct solar controller for the LiFePO4 cells.
