Default Win7 Laptop Wont Detect WiFi

    Hi

My daughter brought her lappy over for me to do some work on. Its an i7 Asus running Win7. I cat get the thing to detect my wifi.

Its probably something stupid, but when you start it up and click on the internet button at the bottom right, the list shows my wifi for a fraction of a second, then the thing reverts to a different list.

    What am I missing?

Silly question, but wi-fi is actually turned on in the lappy?

Check the network wireless settings in the lappy.

OK..problem solved. Turns out it was ESET that was blocking the network.
