    To cut down on spam and annoying requests, PM's can now only be sent by new users after 7 days and only if they have 10 posts.

    If it creates spam (new users posting crap to get 10 posts), I will consider taking it down to 5 posts as I know from being a member on other forums, it can be a pain, but of course we dont want members being bugged unnecessarily.

    Hello Admin,

    I'm only new to this forum, was on the old DTV forums (now stereonet) and was looking to get in touch with mtv. I found him here and I was trying to PM mtv and only stumbled across the above rules now. To avoid spamming to hit the 10 post minimum, is it possible to have mtv PM me instead? Sorry for the random request
