Do you have a meter to check the power supply?
Leroy
Hi.
I have had this for a couple of years but it doesn't turn on any more. There is just a light that is flashing green. I have POPO'd the unit and get the same result. I am thinking it might be stuffed but am hoping it might just be the power supply that has failed. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Simon

Hi Leroy.
Just done that. It is pumping out 12v (which it should) and 1 amp and it says it should be 2 amps. I am not an expert when it comes to multi-meters and I think I did it right with the amp reading - on the meter - black to the common, red to the amp plug, on the power supply black to the outer, red to the inner.

Simon
Current is measured in series with the positive output of the power supply and the positive input of the device under test.
If the power supply says it's rated at 2 amps, that is the maximum current that supply is designed to deliver, not what the device should draw.
I shot an email off to the supplier. Lets see what he comes back with.

Sorry I did get a reply and forgot to update post. It seems it's a main board problem. It could be something as simple as leaking electrolytic capacitors or something more sinister but would require a service tech to look at it.
Cheers,
