Default Bend W1070- Horizontal Mounting Position

    Bend W1070- Horizontal Miunting Position
The lens on this projector is offset to one side, so when you mount this projector on the ceiling do you centre it horizontally to the lens or to the centre of the projector?

Reason I ask this is that perhaps the lens already has a horizontal offset built in, to allow for it to be centred horizontally? The lens to the side and the non symmetrical mounting holes on the underside could make for a difficult installation ( I only have one 90mm noggin centred in the roof space for this projector to be attached to).

    Thanks for any responses?

    I guess you mean a Benq W1070?
All set up options are covered in the user guide.
Adjustments with in the Benq W1070 will also allow for multiple off set issues.

When i did mine, i measured everything off the lens center.
I did that because when you read the User Guide, all measurements and given in reference to Center of Lens.

    Centred on the lens.

Just add an additional support to the ceiling frame where you need to mount the projector.

Don't compromise with projector placement if the existing frame isn't where the best position for the projector is.

Out of all the projector installs I've done there have been very few that have had a roof truss exactly where I've needed it, so almost all jobs have required adding a support.
