dunno, but I highlight backwards... ie click between the t and . in your example and drag to the l.
This has pissed me off for years and I want to fix it.
When I go to highlight a block of text, windows automatically grabs the entire word from the beginning and at the end it grabs all punctuation.
Eg.
Say I want the underlined section of this line of text.
Note the fullstop
Windows will first attempt to grab this:
Say I want the underlined section of this line of text.
If I wave my mouse around the first word I can get it to start when I clicked, in the middle of the word "underlined"
but it will always grab the fullstop as well.
I just want to turn this stupid fkn "feature" off totally, I am capable of controlling my mouse and I want to highlight EXACTLY what I click & drag.
How can I do this????
Please, it's driving me mad!
