Default David Bowie has been reported as Dying aged 68 from Cancer.

It seems the report announcing his death was made first on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

As the Media outlets are only now picking up on the report, it has caught them by surprise it seems.

He certainly made his mark on the Music and Entertainment industry during his years as a performer.

What a shock! Had not heard anything in the news in the last eighteen months that he was sick with cancer.

David Bowie was a one-off writer, singer and performer. His music was brilliant and his concerts were unbelievable.

I don't think we will ever have another David Bowie. His music will certainly live-on.

    RIP.

A musical genius and and a great lose to the creative arts. He has died just a few days after releasing his latest video. His latest albums "The next day" and "Black star", effected me just like Johnny cash's last album when he knew his time had come. So sad, but that's life and death.

David Bowie had just turned 69 two days prior to his death.

Lazarus, released on his birthday, (form his album - Blackstar) opens with the lyrics: "Look up here, I'm in Heaven!"

Another music legend gone, but his music lives on.

    RIP David

I dont know about Jagger but Paul McCartney, Ringo Star, Tom Jones and a dozen more are all old enough to qualify for the Old Age Pension (Bus Pass in the UK) with many like Annie Lennox suffering from various Health issues.

Some great music over the years and I can remember in my teens he was literally on every radio station with "Lets Dance" , "Modern Love" and "China Girl" all hogging the charts at once.
Jean Genie was one of my favourites thanks to some great guitar riffs, but surprisingly I think this is his best :
