I see commander Bone-spurs has told reporters he is taking Hydroxychloroquin despite early tests showing at best it does nothing and at worst, it can kill people with even mild heart conditions.

I personally don't even believe him. He is old, overweight, doesn't exercise, and almost certainly has hypertension. No doctor in his right mind would approve this drug for someone with those criteria.

Yes, he (and his ilk) have this amazing default position of; 'If scientists said it, it must be wrong'.

You could probably take that further to be; 'If many highly-accredited professionals, acknowledged to be leaders in their field said it, it must be wrong. Because a random Youtube video that I watched, said so.'

Where I do see wrong is him encouraging the masses(again) with his actions to do something that is not proven.
This encourages the sheeple to self medicate and there ARE serious side effects if a person has other underlying medical issues.

There are trails and observations where the CoVid mortality after the use of hydroxychloroquine had INCREASED, while others showed no benefit.

Again personally, I don't see anything wrong with his doctor prescribing it to HIM!

There has been early studies. The findings are that it makes no difference one way or the other, to people with COVID-19. Doesn't help, doesn't hinder.

It's used to treat Lupus symptoms. Hardly needed "to keep them alive". Many Lupus sufferers can't take hydroxychloraquine because of heart disease. Luckily there are other, better medicine than hydroxychloraquine that don't have the side-effects.
