    Default 12 volt battery

my mate gave me a gm 12 volt air compessor
& i have a old 12 volt jumper thingy, light socket, 240v point, has 2x6 volt batteries (dead)

so i bought a 12 volt 7amp battery for it, wrong size

    Q. can i charge it with a traxxas lipo charger? has a 2amp setting

then i'll run the compressor off the battery

What are the exact details of the 12 volt 7A battery?
Like format, SLA, Lipo, NiMH etc??

The Traxxas only does Lipo & NiMH.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

in hindsight i should have gone with the 240 to 12 volt converter
but was trying to fix me jumper thingy too
    now i got f-all lol
the compressor still has the ciggy light connection, unbelievably i havnt cut that off yet.
if i try 1 of the 12v power thingys i have already, i'll run the multi-meter on it as well.
